HOURS

Due to the Covid pandemic, and in an effort to implement social distancing and safety protocols, students are unable to use the media center physically. Students have been instructed, instead, to place books on hold using Destiny Discover. Those requests will be delivered directly to the students in their classrooms. Please see the instructional video below for assistance with placing books on hold.

DESTINY DISCOVER - ONLINE CATALOG

Books can be located from any Internet-connected computer by using Destiny Discover, our online catalog.

Students will find a plethora of physical books, eBooks and audio books. eBooks and audio books can be checked out directly in Destiny to be read online. Physical books must be placed on hold and will be delivered daily.

ACCELERATED READER/STAR

Accelerated Reader is a computer program that helps teachers and librarians manage and monitor children’s independent reading practice. Students are encouraged to pick a book at their own level and read it at their own pace.

Our program provides access to information and ideas for all users. It affords opportunities for students to appreciate literature and the cultural arts, to learn creative thinking skills, to become critical seekers of information and ideas, and to use instructional and educational technology effectively so they may become independent life-long learners and decision makers.
